Site Construction
This site has been designed with accessibility in mind. The pages are built using XHTML Strict coding and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to control the layout and design of the site. This enables the site to be styled in many different ways without changing any of the code, which allows one set of simple templates to be used to present the site on the Content Management System (CMS) and as many CSS as required to present a multitude of stylings. Basically, whereas with table-based layouts the content and the layout were linked at a core lever, with XHTML/CSS the content and the layout are separately controlled allowing for more flexiblity in the control of the site.

Site Content Management
The content of the site is controlled by the MODx Content Management System with custom functionality written by Stephan Dale. This enables a flexible and simple way of adding and controlling the content of the site.
