Jazz Publishing Magazine and Design Websites
The work done on the Jazz websites always came from a very open brief of "make it look good and make sure the Editors like it". Work started work on all the sites by meeting up with the editors of each magazine and discussing what they likes and disliked about the current site. Questions were also asked about the readers and what they wanted from the sites, since the readers also used the site to meet and organies gatherings.
Logos and colours were the basis of all the designs for the sites. An element of fun was added to each of the sites to bring the sites alive and to get away from the staid layout that was present before the redesigns started.
All the sites had eCommerce facilities. Miva Shopping Cart software controlled the eCommerce facilites and contained the catalogue of merchandise.
